1 - Affordable Care Act - Health Source RI (HSRI):

Health Source RI (HSRI) is RI's Health Insurance Marketplace. Every year, HSRI has an open enrollment period. People who experience major life change, can enroll at any time.

2 - MEDICAID:

Medicaid is essentially free health insurance. Individuals eligible for Medicaid can apply to enroll at any time. Once approved, Medicaid coverage is retroactive to the 1st of the month that the application was submitted to RI Department of Human Services. Applicants should be sure to ask for a date-stamped copy when they submit the application to DHS.

3 - Health Care Tax Credits:

Tax credits can be applied to lower the cost of monthly premiums (Advanced Premium Tax Credit / APTC) or lowering the cost of the deductibles (Cost-Sharing Reduction / CSR). 

Individuals whose job offers health insurance that costs more than 9.5% of their income, may be eligible for health insurance through the Health Source RI exchange (HSRI) while also receiving a tax credit.

7 - Substance Abuse and Mental Health:

Providence Center; is one of the largest mental health and substance recovery providers. The services include residential treatment, counseling, recovery services and crisis care. It helps adults, adolescents and children affected by psychiatric illnesses, emotional problems.

CaptionCall is part of a federally funded program designed to help qualified individuals with hearing loss use the phone with confidence by reading what the incoming caller is saying.
